Rules & Regulations

  • Every student should carry his/her ALMANAC to school daily.
  • The bell is a signal for all the students to be ready for the assembly or the class.
  • Shouting, whistling or littering in school premises is strictly prohibited.
  • The reporting time for all students is 7.40 am or decided by the Principal.
  • No books (other than textbooks or library books), magazines or papers should be brought to the school without the permission of the Principal / In charge.
  • Borrowing or lending of money and other articles is not permitted.
  • The school is not responsible for lost goods. Student are advised not to bring cash or valuable articles (like expensive watches, pens) to school.
  • Parents and guardians must not visit their wards or teachers in the class rooms without the permission of the Principal.
  • The name, class and section of the pupil should be clearly marked on all the belongings of the students.
  • Latecomers, Uniform Defaulters and children who are irregular with their Home Work will be issued a warning letter.
  • Using unfair means during tests and examination is strictly forbidden. Any student found guilty of the same would be issued a warning letter and awarded a zero in the subject.
  • In case money is sent, it needs to be entered on specified page in the almanac indicating the purpose for which it has been sent, mobile phones or any other electronic item/toys/digitals watches are strictly prohibited on school premises.
SCHOOL UNIFORM AND GENERAL APPEARANCE
  • Every MMHS pupil must contribute to the high tone of the school.
  • Pupils must wear the regular school uniform during school hours and when travelling to and fro from the school.
  • Personal cleanliness is expected from all pupils. The uniform must be clean and neatly pressed. shoes well polished, finger nails cut, and hair groomed neatly.
STANDARDS OF BEHAVIOUR
  • We want every child to be safe and happy in our school. We believe that the key to this is for all of us to have self- respect, respect for each other and their property.
  • Every member of our school community has the right to be treated equally, foul, unparliamentary, irrespective of gender, race, community religion, physical characteristic or any other factor, Harassment and bullying are treated firmly and immediately. All children and adults, are expected to show good manners to other children and adults, Fowl un parliamentary language will not be tolerated on the school premises.
  • Indiscipline or misbehaviour is punishable. Truancy, lack of respect, objectionable moral influence and other serious misbehavior is punishable. The pupil who receives three warnings, will be given a notice of dismissal and must leave the school.
  • The reporting time for all students is 7.40 am. or decided by the Principal. All children are expected to be inside the school premises as per the stated timing. Latecomers will not be entertained.
  • The School does not accept responsibility for the loss of a students books, pens, money etc. Each student is responsible for his / her own belongings.
  • All belongings carried by children to school should be neatly labeled. Children are not allowed to wear any jewellery except small studs in case of girl child This is for the safety of your ward.
  • Wearing of wristwatches is not allowed.
  • No fancy haircut is allowed for boys. Close haircut is mandatory, hair should not fall on the forehead.
  • All girls are expected to wear a black hair band. Girls with shoulder length hair are expected to tie two ponytails. Girls with long hair to tie two plaits.
  • No fancy clips, hair bands, fringes, mehndi, nail polish bracelets, anklets, are allowed for girls.
  • Gumboots and umbrellas are not allowed during rain. Children to wear raincoats only.
  • Parents are requested to send only nutritious vegetarian food in the lunch boxes.
  • Students should realise that they are responsible to the school authorities not only for their conduct in the school but also for their general behaviour outside. Any reported or observed objectionable conduct outside the school on the part of the students will make them liable for disciplinary action. After school hours students should not be found loitering in the streets wearing the school uniform.
  • Shouting in the school building is not allowed. The same holds true for the parents. Pupils must keep to the left when using their staircases and corridors.
  • Misbehaviour in public places and eating on the staircases or in the verandahs is not allowed.
  • Habitual idleness, copying in the exams or a week’s inexcusable absence, each is a sufficient cause for dismissal / fine.
  • Pupils are not permitted to take tuitions from school teachers, without the written permission of the Principal. Pupils found violating this rule are liable to be expelled.
